1. How can my department or college submit news or event details for publication?

News and event submissions must be prepared using the University’s Google Workspace. Please upload your content to the DOPR Shared Drive as a Google Doc. The University Press Office (UNPO) reviews all submissions for editing and publishing. Ensure submissions are clear, complete, and aligned with University guidelines.

2. Who should I contact for media inquiries or interview requests?

All media inquiries, including interview arrangements with University experts or leadership, should be directed to the University Press Office (UNPO) via email: [email protected]. DOPR will coordinate with the relevant individuals and manage media interactions professionally

3. How do I request photography or video coverage for my event?

Requests for photography or video services must be submitted at least two weeks in advance to the University Digital Media and Archive Office (UDMO). Please provide event details, dates, and any special requirements. Contact: [email protected]

4. What are the guidelines for collaborating with DOPR?

DOPR welcomes collaboration proposals from UOD departments, students, and external partners. Proposals must:

  • Align with UOD’s strategic communication objectives
  • Uphold DOPR’s content quality and branding standards
  • Respect timelines for content submission and approval

5. How can I access the University Digital Media Archive?

The University’s Digital Media Archive is hosted on the official University Repository Platform. You can browse historic media, photos, and press materials. For special access requests or assistance, email [email protected]
